Since its inception in 2009, our mission has been resolute: to provide an exceptional platform for nature photographers worldwide, enabling them to showcase their extraordinary creations while igniting awareness about environmental conservation.
Over 15 years, the festival's impact has spanned more than 150 countries, influencing 12 million young minds. This global reach lets Greenstorm Foundation connect with diverse cultures and ecosystems, fostering holistic environmental education.
In 2023, Greenstorm Foundation partnered with the United Nations G20 Global Land Initiative to organise the 15th edition of the Greenstorm Global Photography Festival with an aim to host the world’s most prestigious photography competition.
Beyond visuals, the festival is a tribute to our planet's beauty and fragility—an invitation to join the conservation journey.
The G20, or Group of Twenty, is an intergovernmental forum for the world’s major developed and developing economies. It comprises 19 countries (Argentina, Australia, Brazil, Canada, China, France, Germany, India, Indonesia, Italy, Japan, Republic of Korea, Mexico, the Russian Federation, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, South Africa, Turkey, the United Kingdom, the United States of America), and the European Union.
Collectively, the G20 accounts for 85% of global GDP, two-thirds of the world's population and makes up about half of the earth’s total land area.
